Wiles Threatens Critic, Former Donor With Lawsuit
On December 28th I received a 5 page letter from an attorney hired by Rick Wiles threatening to sue me if I did not issue a public statement of apology to Rick Wiles and enter into a written agreement with Trunews/Wiles stating that I will never again defame his name. On January 27th, I received another letter from Rick’s attorney threatening immediate litigation if I do not comply to submit to these ridiculous demands. Of course, my attorney told me Rick’s basis for a lawsuit is unfounded, and if he sues me he will lose the case.
I find it quite ironic that Mr. Wiles can go his radio show and publicly slander me, my ministry, call a good Kenyan pastor a thief, defame numerous politicians (up to the US president) without any qualms, yet when someone criticizes him or his ministry (like donors who want to know why their monies are not used appropriately), he gets a little touchy and threatens to sue. He should practice what he preaches. I guess freedom of speech only applies to Rick Wiles.
I donated Trunews over $11,000 for a tent church that was supposed to be erected almost a year ago. Now he is suing me because I want to know why this project was not fulfilled as promised multiple times, and why donor’s monies, gold, and silver were never returned.
Listeners need to ask Mr. Wiles why he refuses to be accountable to his donors, and why he threatens to sue them whenever they question his lack of transparency.
God bless,
