Two Horns Like a Lamb – A Mouth Like a Dragon
A new article from Daniel Pipes in Frontpagemag.com should serve as a warning to Bible believing Christians everywhere.
The article is a treatise on the issue of whether or not Islam can be reformed from within. Many liberal theologians within the Catholic Church believe it can. The Pope however has a different view. My purpose in this article is not to delve in to the issue of Islamic reformation but rather to expose the dangerous and demonic beliefs of the Pope regarding the Bible and the Koran.
This basic difference, Pope Benedict continued, makes Islam unlike Christianity and Judaism. In the latter two religions, “God has worked through His creatures. And so, it is not just the word of God, it’s the word of Isaiah, not just the word of God, but the word of Mark. He’s used His human creatures, and inspired them to speak His word to the world.” Jews and Christians “can take what’s good” in their traditions and mold it. There is, in other words, “an inner logic to the Christian Bible, which permits it and requires it to be adapted and applied to new situations
Whereas the Bible is, for Benedict, the “word of God that comes through a human community,” he understands the Koran as “something dropped out of Heaven, which cannot be adapted or applied.” This immutability has vast consequences: it means “Islam is stuck. It’s stuck with a text that cannot be adapted.”
So the Pope thinks that the bible is adaptable and thus can (and must) be changed to mean whatever we want it to mean because it came through men but the Koran is a direct word from God even though it came through Mohammed.
This is heresy of the worst sort!
In his statement, the so called Vicar of Christ first implies a divine origin for the Koran. Next he makes the case that the Bible is superior not because it is the true word of God but because it has been wrought at least partially by men. In making this case the Pope exalts man to a position above God. Where do you suppose such an idea could have come from?
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:.. Is 14:12-13
Does anyone else see the danger here? In chapter 6 of my End Times series, The Mark of the Beast, I demonstrate how the spiritual mark of the beast is already being imparted to apostate Christians. I cannot think of a better example than the Popes words quoted above.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Mat 24:9
For years many western Christians have not believed that this verse could possibly apply to them. Demonic self justifying doctrines have been promulgated such as the pre tribulation rapture and eternal unconditional security in large part to deny the truth of this verse and others like it. Look at that quote again and let it sink in.
If you believe the Bible is the immutable inerrant Word of God. If you believe that we must be conformed to God’s word rather than conforming God’s word to our wishes. If you believe in an eternal unchanging God then you are just like those Islamic radicals. You are “stuck with a text that cannot be adapted”.
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. John 16:2
And now you know how apostate Christianity will think that they are doing God a service when they deliver you up for death.

Now is the time brothers and sister, more than ever, to come out from among them. If you wish to avoid even greater deception you must obey the word of God, regardless of the cost. I know you are comfortable in your church. All your friends are there. You have been led to believe that leaving the church is the same as leaving God. That is a lie.
There is only one thing God has ever wanted from His people, that you would obey His voice.
For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. Jer 7:22-23
Obedience is the only real test of your love for the Lord. Will you obey Him today?
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
