Hinn Again!

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.Jer 14:4

Of all the blind prophets plaguing the Apostate Church of America, one truly stands out, Benny Hinn. Once again we are reminded by the daily news headlines just how blind this so called man of God is.

Producer Sentenced In Fraud Case Regarding Bogus TV Show

U.S. District Judge Manuel Real said the sentence was designed so Medawar -- who spent his victims' investments on such expenses as a $40,000-per-month rented mansion for the bogus series' supposed leading lady -- can begin earning the money he will need if he is to make the court-ordered restitution of $3.46 million to his victims. Under the judge's order, that amount could be reduced by roughly $1 million if the losses cannot be verified

Television evangelist Benny Hinn invited Medawar to promote ``DHS'' during Hinn's program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, a religious cable channel. Medawar also enlisted the cooperation of Gener8Xion Entertainment Inc., a Hollywood-based producer of Bible-themed movies headed by Matthew Crouch, the son of Trinity Broadcasting's founders, Paul and Jan Crouch.

This was not the first time Hinn had been taken in by a con man seeking to cash in on the gullibility of America’s religious sheep. Remember the Greg Setser case?

One of America's best-known televangelists was in a Dallas federal courtroom on Monday. Prosecutors said Benny Hinn was fooled by a promise of big money.   Hinn, whose international ministry is based in Irving, is one of more than 1,000 Christians who were targeted in what prosecutors called a fraud and money laundering scheme run by Greg Setser.

What is it about Hinn that causes him to be duped over and over by frauds and cons? Better yet, how can this man continue to draw tens of thousands to his stage shows even after he has been exposed multiple times as liar .

Surely Isaiah prophesied about Hinn when he said the watchmen are blind, greedy dogs who never have enough.

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Isaiah 56:10-11

Hinn is taken in by cons and frauds because he looks to his own way and that way is all about money and how to get it. Consequently his disciples are transformed into the same image.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Mat 23:15

The blind prophets of the Apostate Church of America love to quote Matthew 10:41 to their proselytes.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward;….

This statement is true. Those who follow Hinn and his ilk are receiving the prophet’s reward only it is the false prophet’s reward. Since they refuse to repent of their idols of covetousness, God answers them according to their idols just as he promised – Ezek 14:4.

Because they refuse to love the truth God has given them over to strong delusion. – 2Thes 2:11, that they should believe a lie.

How long will you refuse God’s warnings? How many times must men like Hinn be exposed as liars and hypocrites before you will repent and turn to the Lord?

And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them? Num 14:11

The time has come. God will not strive with man forever. I counsel you to hearken unto the voice of the Lord today. Turn from your idolatry and covetousness that you may escape the great judgment that is soon to come. Do not think that just because you claim the name of Christ you will escape. Those who claim the name of Christ must bear the fruit of Christ in their lives. Those who fail to bare fruit are bare branches subject to the fire – John 15:6.

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them. Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it. To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish. Jer 6:17-21
